Amélie Fontaine
About the artist –
Amélie Fontaine is a French illustrator born in Soissons, in the north of Paris, and living in the countryside in the center of France. She works for magazines, newspapers and children’s publishing houses and produces her own ceramic collections.
Her collections –
The collection designed by Amélie Fontaine presents a new approach of the Ko-sometsuke porcelain traditionally produced in Arita. The simple, playful motifs created by the artist are printed in cobalt blue on a seemingly natural, imperfect surface.
