The perfect pan for making delicious Japanese omelettes

Produced in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture, a well-known metal production area, this pan is traditionally used to make soft Japanese omelettes. The pan’s square shape, popular in the Kanto (Tokyo) region, creates thick, fluffy omelettes with several layers rolled up. The eggs are often mixed with seasonings such as soy sauce and dashi broth, which add flavour to the omelette. The good thermal conductivity of copper makes it the ideal material for making delicious tamagoyaki, as the heat is distributed evenly over the entire surface of the pan.

– Copper pan, tin-plated interior, wooden handle
– For 2 to 3 eggs
– Size: 15 × 15 × 3 cm
– Made in Tsubame, Japan
– Not compatible with induction hobs
– Comes with a detachable handle. Place and nail in the nail provided.
– Not suitable for induction hobs
– Oil before use. Clean regularly with warm water and mild soap. Avoid scouring sponges or abrasive cleaners. If necessary, clean with white vinegar and salt. To brighten copper, use lemon juice or a vinegar and salt solution. A white vinegar and flour solution can remove corrosion. Mix enough white vinegar and flour to form a thick paste, then apply it to the corroded surface and leave it on for several hours before rinsing with warm water.
