A pair of cups to brighten up mornings and evenings

French illustrator Marie Assénat’s pair of Yunomi cups features a charming, playful assortment of characters drawn from Japanese folklore to accompany you gently through the mornings and evenings. The word ‘Oyasumi’ (good night) written in hiragana on the surface of the ceramic is translated into French on the inside of the cup.

Our first design entirely produced in-house, Yunomi cups are versatile shapes that can be used as tea or coffee cups, pen holders or planters. Their generous capacity means that you can enjoy beverages in a unique, hand-crafted piece. Each cup is illustrated by an international artist and is available in matching pairs.

The cobalt-blue and vermilion-red decoration is hand-transferred onto a ceramic base specially designed for this collection. Each piece has unique variations in colour and thickness.
