All-vegetal candles used in temples and tea ceremonies

Japanese handmade candles made from all-natural rice wax. Each candle has a burn time of approximately 15 minutes, ideal for a coffee break or meditation session. The box is illustrated with a cat and a mouse. Traditionally, Japanese candle makers breed cats to repel mice. Daiyo has been making authentic candles used in temples and tea ceremonies throughout Japan since 1914. Compared to Western candles, this type of candle leaves a minimum of residue.
