Created for Kihara by leading Japanese designer Makoto Koizumi, the Sitaku collection brings together a variety of kitchen tools in a modular, compact design. The various pieces included in the collection make it easy to squeeze lemons, to grind seeds or almonds and to grate ginger. The mortar piece, which comes with a locally-produced maple pestle, features an unglazed interior texture reminiscent of the traditional Japanese suribachi mortar.
